Community Events
Skyward supports the community as much as possible throughout the year. The local food banks, SPCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Making Play Possible and community athletes/teams have been the focus for the clinic since 2015.
For every Made By Bees product sold at Skyward, $2 goes to Making Play Possible and a donation is made once a year.
Skyward also provides bursaries each year for a deserving male and female graduating athlete at both TISS, BCI, St. Mary and Gananoque commencements each year.
MARCH 2023
It was a busy month at Skyward as we were able to donate $400 to the SPCA from our Cupcake Week and $250 to Making Play Possible from our sales of maple syrup, honey and Made by Bees products. Then on March 29th we sponsored the All star Girls High School Volleyball games at TISS. It was a great night of volleyball and we look forward to sponsoring again next year!
DECEMBER 2022
We had another successful fundraising campaign for both the local Food Bank and Big Brothers Big Sisters in November and December! In our 3rd annual November Challenge we raised $525 plus 50 items for the Food Bank. Then we presented Big Brothers Big Sisters with 35 gifts and $180 for their Giving Tree. It was a wonderful way to finish off the year!
MAY 2022
Skyward sponsored a team in the Front of Yonge Minor Soccer league this summer for the first time! It was a fantastic summer of soccer and we hope to do it again next season!
