Brittany McLean
Brittany is an experienced athletic therapist who graduated from Sheridan College in Athletic Therapy (2012) after completing an English degree at Laurentian University.
She was the head therapist for the Queen's University Football team for 5 years as well as covering a variety of sports during 12 years at the Kingston Athletic Therapy Centre (KATC). She was also with men's rugby at RMC from 2021-2023.
Brittany has extensive training in a variety of areas including concussions and women's health. She uses visceral manipulation to assist with conditions including endometriosis, painful periods, polycystic ovarian syndrome, surgical scarring, among many other things.
From a concussion perspective, she draws from her experience in high level sport and working with chronic concussion cases to create tailored programs that address one's specific symptoms. Utilizing a combination of hands-on manual therapy and exercise prescription, she has great success getting people back to their 'normal' after suffering from a concussion.
Overall, Brittany’s treatment approach involves looking at the whole body rather just the site of pain/injury. She understands that injuries have a profound affect on the body; not only physically but also emotionally. Her main objective as a therapist is to address the injury, correct any biomechanical imbalances, and help you return to activity feeling stronger than ever.
