Shannon Morrison has been passionate about sports for as long as she can remember. She played every sport she could fit into her schedule and finally decided on a career in physiotherapy. Shannon completed her physiotherapy degree at Queen's University in 2002, after attending Dalhousie University for Kinesiology. After graduation, Shannon worked in Ottawa and began her sports physiotherapy career with the Ottawa Sooners football club and then the Phoenix ultimate frisbee team.
From there she decided to pursue further education in Australia where she completed her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2005. Shannon returned to her hometown to open Podium Sports Therapy in 2006 and started from scratch again in 2015 with Skyward Active Health Centre.
Shannon has been blessed to have the support of her family and friends throughout these business ventures. She has now taken a different path in her career as she focuses on providing virtual physiotherapy and expanding her knowledge in marketing, social media and website design to help Skyward move forward in this high-tech world.
